Dr Jane Williams to deliver New Year talks

ESTEEMED AUTHOR AND LECTURER Dr Jane Williams has been announced as the latest speaker to come to Winchester as part of the Space in the City theology talks series.
Jane will be giving a series of four talks in Winchester in the New Year 2013 about the intriguing subject "If Jesus is the answer, what is the question?"
Jane teaches Christian doctrine at St Paul’s Theological Centre and is a visiting Lecturer in Theology at King’s College London. She is the author of several books, including Approaching Easter and Approaching Christmas, Perfect Freedom, Who Do You Say That I am? and most recently, Angels.
Space in the City
Running for over 20 years, Space in the City is an ecumenical initiative by the churches in Winchester offering theological talks for the lay person on a variety of topics, attracting top quality speakers. Past speakers have included Donald Coggan, Paula Gooder, Peter Selby and Michael Mayne.
Jane’s lunchtime talks will be held at the United Church in Jewry Street on Wednesday 16, 23 and 30 January and 6 February at 12.30pm. Each talk lasts half-an-hour.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
